The F100 Steering box sound impressive with 1/16'' to zero play. I feel for show cars original is the way to go but with 3.5'' to 4'' of play on my seven tooth (After adjustment) is a safety issue. I have only had my car for month and have put on about 150 miles however I am yet to go over 35 to 40 due to the steering wheel play. My 29 has a new front end and was restored by the prior owner. I have sorted out a few things but the steering has been the only major concern......I need to do something to make it enjoyable and safe.

I like modern or newer upgrades as long as they don't show.
I used the whole F100 box and column including the self cancelling turn signals.
I also have a power assist cylinder from a older Nash hooked to the pitman arm.
It is out of sight behind the splash apron.
