Default Re: Magnetic transmission oil drain plug?

I made my own for engine trans and rear end using 1/4” long 1/4” diameter high strength magnets I bought online. Just drill into drain plugs 3/16” deep 1/4” wide and stick them in they will hold themselves no glue needed very difficult to get out. When I change the oils the plugs are always loaded with “fuzz” that would have been circulating otherwise. I believe them to be very effective at keeping the oil’s free of fillings. Cylinders wear and everyone grinds a gear now and then.
