Boosting power and efficiency is a sum of all parts,the head alone will help but to gain maximum return matching carburetor flow rate to engine flow rate,increasing cam lift and duration,providing engine rpm controlled timing and increasing exhaust flow along with the compression increase from the head yields results..and yes,RED is a proven secret of speed,it goes faster,runs cooler and gets more chicks..

Give me a number when adding your head alone? A police head gives 20% increase I believe and they are only 5.5 compression.
