All good advice above., with special emphasis on the security aspects. Since I have been using Windows defender on Windows 10 (at least five years) , I have had no problems.

AND it's built into the operating system, Windows 10. AND that makes it FREE. So Win-Win on malware defense. Kick Norton and others to the curb.
