1964, I am in MD but you live in my ancestoral 'hood. Surname Grubb on fathers side and my grandmother was a Kelly. Grandmom came from the Roanoke area, Dads family Galax? maybe?? Names ring a bell?

I do know Grubbs, my mother was a cox, was born in galax. The grandfather that settled in this area was born in Lancaster Pa 1740 I believe. They lived an interesting life and I’m sure relatives, brothers sister stayed in Pa. being an old family is why I’m sure I’m related to so many here.
