Note this type of cap goes in SERIES, not to ground. The case of this type of cap is the ground. Be sure the case of the cap is grounded.
They can be had at electronic parts stores.
To use resistor plugs, you may have to use 14mm adaptors in the plug holes.
At one time in the past, someone made plug resistors that snapped on the spark plug and the wire then plugged in the resistor unit.

This is probably the best first step. I would also recommend you check every single electrical connection on the car, especially the terminal box on the firewall, for clean, tight connections. The battery serves as a big condenser, so make sure all battery connections are clean and tight.
My friend put an electronic backup camera on her car and the noise in the power feed was very bad. She investigated all wiring and found a bad connection. When that was corrected, the signal improved quite a bit and the image was better.
