Jim Brierley Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Temecula, CA Posts: 4,251	Re: Best Rear Main Seal Hardtimes, Many guys use 8 bolts but I feel the dowels are the best to take the shear forces. I torque stock V8 bolts to 65 lbs, ARP bolts to 75.
