Default Re: Model A shocks

Define working.

Look up in the service bulletins what Ford gave for specs. With the valve in tight and in a vice using the original lever how long does it take for you to push it from end to end? How hard is it?

It should be very very stiff and very slow to move by hand and noticeably easier to move in the opposite direction.

I ask becuase I was forced to change my definition of working when I got the specs for the KRW testing tools and found what I was taught as good was not so good.
