Default 550 x 19

Two weeks ago I install 550 x 19 tires from Coker free shipping . She rides as smooth as silk . My rims were 4.5 wide and seated well. Running 29-30 lbs. those old tires were recaps and as hard as a rock, side wall cracks .

On my to do list is find someone to spin and balance. Money well spent.

Juice brakes? Do you have the correct adapters to run wire wheels on the juice brake drums?

No such thing as free shipping! It is in the price somewhere you just can't see it in writing, Bottom line is the tires are marked up the amount of the shipping costs. It makes us feel good to think if was free but none of us are fools. Wayne

I used balancing beads on my new 5.50R19 Coker Radials. Couldn't ask for a better ride.

Franklin, I recently bought Coker Tires from http://www.performanceplustire.com/
for the same price that Coker gets for each tire.
The only difference is that Performanceplus doesn't charge shipping where Coker does. I saved $90 shipping. These were 600-16 tires

Recently bought a set of 550x19 from Summitt, $100 per tire less than Coker listed on its website and free shipping. They sent 6 ply Excelsior. Looks like bias ply on the inside. I guess the 6 ply will be good for potholes.

balancing beads Never heard about this before , so last night I watch couple you tubes and I'm still in the dark... I'm fascinated about the concept ....
Maybe do a search here tomorrow ...

Just putting new rubber tire on my roadster made a world of difference . My old tire had 59 stamped on it and we're recapped. The tire were as hard as a rock....
