I have done several and the way I do it is get a large nail and a pair of vise grips. Hold the nail in the vise grips and heat it with a torch until red. I had already located the holes in the frame so all I had to do was insert the nail in the hole and wallow it around until the hole was the same size as the hole in the frame. Do this in a well ventilated area. It worked for me and the holes were perfect.

I found it easy to use a ballpeen hammer. Place the welting on the frame. Locate the hole in the frame. Using the round end of the hammer, tap around the edge of the hole. The hole will be cut out of the welting. Bill
