39 4 door windshield clips

help needed i have been trying to buy the 2 windshield clips for my 39 to no avail one guy did have a pair for 85.00 dollars including shipping.i felt this price to be high my opinion of course then i received a message stating that i could cut my own tubing and make my own clips is their anyone out their who has done this that can help me locate the stock metal i would use to make these 2 clips that i need.anyone"s help would surely be appreciated. thank you. jim e-mail [email protected] or pm
