Default sloppy clutch actuation shaft

I am dealing with a bad sloppy shaft on the end where the bronze half shells reside. Question is are there different size bushings there or are there different size balls for different years?
I am using 40 Ford actuation shaft to a hogshead. There is plenty of slop at the pivot Point ball.
Any help would be appreciated. All parts are in good shape.
