Got a curious sound I can't figure out - occurs when engine rpm is high (like doing 45mph in 3rd or winding out 2nd).
It actually is best described as sounding like a little bell ringing under the floor boards! It is not loud, my passengers have never noticed it. But I hear it and I am confused as to what it could be. Just sounds like a little metallic ring. I have no severe vibrations, car runs great and notice no "symptoms". Just this little ding-ding-ding coming from near the shifter area - though it is real had to tell where it is coming from!!!! It does not make the sound when rev'd in neutral. Any thoughts? Thanks! |
