I stumbled into a neat tutorial on raising a copper vessel on YouTube.
It was posted by an artisan in NY by the name of Sage Reynolds. Link to YouTube Page Sage Reynolds Raising a vessel. It is a multipart series and is a good example of cold hammer shrinking, which he mistakenly calls stretching at one point. Here is something called Chasing. This is interesting because he shows how to raise something from inside a hole in the later parts of the series. Chasing That should keep you all busy for a while ![]() |
