Default Newbie to the forum with a '36 Truck

Hi Everyone,

After selling my '51 Chevy truck I set out to find and 1935-36 ford truck. You can say I felt in love with the flathead V8 and the crank out windshield.
Well this weekend I pulled the trigger on this beauty you see here. I know little to nothing about these trucks, so I will be learning all from scratch....

I will start by asking where is the best place to find parts?...I will be needing a few to get her to where I want it. Replacing the bed is a must, adding the glass to the doors and bringing the interior to bone stock....just to name a few

I was told the motor is '48 built by Dode Martin. It has a Chevy 5-speed tranny and 3-97 carbs. The '40 hydraulic brakes need some work and unfortunately, the tailgate was custom made and welded shot to the sides of the bed.
Looking forward to getting her on theroad once I adjust the brakes.
