Default They Really Are Still Out There

After a number of years out of the old Ford Hobby I contacted an old friend and told him, "TV is driving me crazy, I need an old Ford again." The following Sunday he picks me up and takes me to look at three cars. I could not resist the old barn find of a 1939 Ford Tudor. The older owner had restored the car over 10 years ago and lost interest and drove it into the barn's lean to. I could not sleep at night until a deal was made. The pictures show the car as it was found with flat tires and bird poop. We aired up the tires, sprayed off the dust and loaded onto a wrecker. One week later and many hours of work it was clean and polished. We are now working to get it started. We have had it two weeks and it has a new fuel tank and lines, new carb on way and battery ready to install. We hope to drive it down the road to a meet in two weeks. Wow I sure don't miss the TV!
