Default high oil pressure

About a week ago, I ask about high oil pressure problems in my "B" engine. It ran 200 pounds when started.

Thank you for the many suggestions and ideas.

After reading all of them , I came up with an idea.

I changed oil, put 2 quarts of trans. fluid and 2 quarts of 10-40 oil. in the car. I ran it at idle for 2 minutes. at 1 minute, the pressure started to stabilize I changed oil and I am running 10-40 in the car now and the oil pressure is OK. At idle, 40 pounds, up to 70 when driving. That was the pressure when I first started the engine when I got the car.

Thanks again for the advice.
