The airplane is a 1946 Aeronca Champ made in Middletown, Ohio. I have owned it for about 25 years and gave it to my son if he would restore it. It is almost done. That is the original color scheme. 65 horsepower, no electrics. Cruise is about 83 mph, straight and level. It was a good day.. __________________ Son, you will never blow an engine up in high gear.
