Question F100 front brakes..just what years are usable?

I just picked up a set of the square back Ford spindles (1942?) to convert juice brakes on to my 34 Ford.I was planning on using F100 brakes.Just how late a model is interchangeable? I have heard as late as 1963 can be used.Anybody used early 60s F100 on their 37-48 spindles? They would probably be easier to find than the 50s brakes.
