Default Combine Your Wisdom

Combine engine

Called Dad as I was driving the '31 to work yesterday. (That right there would be enough to call it a good day and the sun wasn't even up yet.) Anyway, he offered me the model A engine he's had in the shop for the last 20 years. Says it came from a combine and has been rebuilt. He mentioned the cam in it. Something about it being a better one than those that came in the cars.

I was going to say,"You guys know anything about that?" But I know you know ALL about it.

So what should I know about these engines? Combine your wisdom and "school me" a bit, please.
