Smoking gun in that video is how as the clutch is released, the noise comes up to speed, although quickly. It sounds as if with the clutch disengaged, there is no movement in the parts causing the noise, then as the clutch is engaged, the noise goes from zero RPM to whatever RPM not instantly, but as the clutch engages. It isn't an ON/OFF noise, it comes up to speed, and that is why I suspected something downstream of the clutch housing.
