Default I'm back.....

After almost 5 years with no Model A, we bought another about two weeks ago.
My sweet wife found it on FB Marketplace and liked it.
She encouraged me to buy it and as anyone knows you simply do not refuse a wife who wants you to buy a Model A.
July '29 CCPU converted to a flatbed.
It's rough but cute and the price was right.
Engine # still matches title.
It runs poorly but has no unpleasant engine noises.
Brakes are a joke.
Came with another 29 engine (disassembled) and a crapload of spare parts ranging from great to junk.
Previous owners did not know a lot about Model As and it shows-
12V conversion, streetrod gas tank in the back, fuel pump, carb from unknown source, homegrown wiring &c &c.
As soon as I find time to set the timing and get the fuel delivery/carb issues resolved I'll tie into the brakes and see just how bad they are.
My long-distance touring days are behind me so I just want to get it dependable and safe so it can be driven around town.....
