Idle screw thread sealant?
I was looking for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner and found the idle screws weren't sealing. What is the recommended fix? Is it time for a new base from Stromberg?
I put some Permatex aviation form a gasket on the threads and it has made an improvement. |
