Default 1931 Tudor door and rear window anti rattle

I just purchased these from Snyders and noticed the slots don’t match exactly around the screw boss, should they or do I have the wrong parts? Also the rear rubber does not touch the glass unless it is slid out toward the glass. Could the inner metal it attaches to be adjusted toward the glass? Is there anything on the outside of the glass that seals from water and debris going inside the body or doors?

I hope all of that made sense, thanks.
