Default oil pressure.

Went out in the 34 this Morning, on the hi way at 55 mph I noticed the oil pressure was down below 15 psi on the gauge (.Ford electric one from a later model )
Came home and had a look, oil level full and clean.
put a modern certified mechanical gauge teed into the block, 31 psi hot idle and 50 psi high idle, the gauge in the cab never went Ove 20 psi.
I find the sender unit was an 80 psi one, so changed it out for a 50 psi and now it reads pretty close to the certified gauge.
worry gone.
