Default 1955 Thunderbird turn signal help, front signals come on with brakes

My mom bought a 1955 Thunderbird over the summer. Now that driving season is coming to an end I'm going over some loose ends on it. It was rewired with what looks like an original style wiring harness but it is converted to 12 volt negative ground. When the brake pedal is pushed down the front signal lights come on solid like the brake lights.

I started looking at the junction block under the dash thinking maybe the wires are just plugged into that block wrong but I'm sort of at a loss. I also found an extra white wire with a blue tracer and an extra green wire with a white tracer, they are hot with left and right signals respectively. Should these be going to the front lights instead of whatever they are currently connected to?
