1949-1950 Ford Grille

I am presently working on a 1950 Ford woodie, its pretty much a basket case at this point. I like the look of 1949 grille better than the 1950, other than the parking lights are there any differences? Could I simply put 49 lights on the ends of the 50 grille bar that i have? I realize relocating mount holes in the fenders will have to be addressed.
