This is a hard to find 1939 - 1941 style generator. What makes it unusual is it only has one terminal stud on the side of the case. In 1942 they added a second terminal on the side for a ground. It is date coded U-4 (April 1940).

The armature was tested for opens, shorts and grounds. The commutator was serviced and the windings sealed with Glyptal. I installed NOS field coils, new brushes, sealed bearing, terminal hardware. The original paint is so nice that I decided to leave it.

$225 plus shipping and insurance.
Questions welcome

Its been bench tested to over 30 amps and runs like new. I can email a video of it on the test bench.

I have other rebuilt Ford generators available - what do you need? I can rebuild yours too.
