Default Denver Heads - Cast Iron

How many years do you suspect these were sold over the parts counter in dealerships? Pre-War only? Post-War? Wonder what the production numbers were? Only sold in high altitude climates such as Denver, CO?

Been looking for a set of 99AS or 99SB for my 1940 Mercury - just know they were "S" suffix heads. Some were stamped on the front and some stamped on the top rail.

Again, CAST IRON factory Ford high compression heads. 24 stud originally made for 1939-1941 Ford or Mercury. NOT Weiand Cheater heads. NOT Canadian 59AB style heads.

Although I've already posted a Wanted Ad, if someone see this and has or knows of a set, please let me know.

Also intrigued on the 81 "AS" and 19 "AS"
