I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this video link here. If I am then I am sorry in advance.
We just finished the main work on our 1929 Model A. When we got it it was already wonderful, but needed some work because it did not perform at all well. I posted here looking for help fixing it and you guys were great. It had a bad carburetor because someone had stripped the threads on a main jet and tried to glue it back in. The car leaked gas from the carburetor a lot and run pretty bad, and sometimes backfired so hard it actually below up the muffler. We spent time learning about Model A carburetors and eventually even made our own jets and tested different ones back to back. We also fixed the timing, etc. All along we have been busy building a new garage for our immerging car collection, and also a great garden so we are stretched for time, but still trying to get work done on the cars. So we finally got to take the Model A on a long drive, she still needs some work, but boy was it fun. If it interests you here is the link to the YouTube video.
