Default How to remove a 1932 Transmission

I just purchased a 1932 V8 4 Door Deluxe a couple of months ago, so I'm very new to this "scene". I have some issues with the clutch. It chatters greatly. Because I like to take the path of least resistance, I really don't want to remove the engine and all its plumbing. I'd really like to "drop" the transmission. Prior to the 1932 and after the 1932, there are forum suggestions that the transmission, along with the rear axle can be moved backwards to get to the clutch. Why is it that the 1932 transmission can't be removed in the similar way ? Please be gentle. This my FIRST Question
