Often in the past I have used Zephyr brakes on my early Fords. It's not as straight forward as the repop phony '39 Lincoln brakes. The difference usually can be spotted at distance. Those brakes and I have a long history. This time i want to do a more elegant job than before in respect for that history and a desire to do a nicer job, perhaps avoiding the use of the clunky cable conduits as on a Zephyr. If others have used these brakes in the past, when the real deal was all we could get. Don't tell me about those adapters that are widely sold that aim too high. The work well on a Model A. The use of original Ford/Lincoln parts is fading fast as Credit Card brake systems are now just an internet away. Some are OK but others are an embarrassment. Any good work out there? Let me know how you did the E brake cable. Hot Rod Snob: Fred A
