Default 1940 Ford stumbles when making a sharp left or right turn

New carb has run very well the last couple months, but when now making left or right hand turns onto other streets.....it stumbles and acts like it's not getting enough fuel. Going straight on roads no probs. I've got the electric pump and a fuel reg. Could it be a sticky float ?

Thx.....Mike
