Default Starter wrap

Met a fellow today who was admiring my 39. As guys do we started talking about the car still being 6volt pos ground. He asked if I had any issues with it. To which I replied not really - if I was to complain about anything it would be hard start when the car is very hot. At which he stated wrap the starter with insulation.

Now before you guys start beating me up. I have good ground, right size cables and bubba distro, skip coil and electric fuel pump.

All I’d like to know is: has anyone tried a insulated wrap on starter?
