Default Another reason the hobby is dying out

I just looked at purchasing a '34 Ford transmission cover.
The cost of shipping was 60 bucks.
Amazing.
I read in one of the business journals a while back that one of the new business models is to sell an item a cheap as possible or give it away and then charge for shipping, handling , etc. Make it up on volume.
You see it on TV all the time.
"If you act now you can get an extra '34 Ford trnsmission cover for free, just pay separate shpping and handling."
