Default What is this generator from?

I am mainly a "shoebox" guy, but about 20 years ago, a guy I knew was making a street rod out of a nice low-mileage 1937 V8-60 tudor. He was just going to scrap a bunch of parts, so I rescued them. I am now going through my stash and trying to eliminate stuff I know I'll never use. Among he stuff I came up with was this generator. I wouldn't usually think to much about it, but this one appears to have had the fan mounted on the generator pulley. In casually scanning some threads, it seems that may be something someone out there needs. To the best of my knowledge, this generator had to come from that '37, but I don't know enough to be sure. The unit seems to be complete except for the field coils. Can someone confirm what it is?
