Default Fred Meyers has passed away

The Model A and Early V-8 world lost a treasured friend and a great restorer last week with the passing of Fred Meyers. He was a long time member of the San Diego Model A's, the Palomar A's and the Early V-8 clubs.
I got to know Fred in the early 1990's when I acquired my '28 roadster. He was always helpful with my questions, sharing both his expertise and even spare parts!
One fall, just before Hershey, I asked Fred to try and find a proper original rumble seat T handle for me. When he returned, he told me he was sorry, but he'd had no luck. That Christmas, I opened a small box with the perfect T handle. My wife had gotten to Fred before me and he helped her pull off a great treat.
Fred will be missed by so many of us.
