Default Head's Up

Here is a sad experience we can all learn from.
A friend at church had a late model Ford F150 4x4 for sale for $28,000. A guy showed interest and said that he had arranged a loan at a local bank. The met up and the owner let the buyer drive, with him in the truck to the bank. They spoke with a banker who advised the buyer that he needed to see the buyers Id. The buyer said that he left his wallet in the truck, told my friend that he would run out and get it. As my friend was waiting in the bank the jerk drove away in the truck.
Being in the Tucson area the police said it was probably already heading South. Sure makes it hard to trust folks. Be cautious when selling a big ticket item.
