Default Why does my rear hub have two bearings ?

Hi,

Last week, I got my first A, till now I always drove my T.

I decided to check my brakes before driving. I removed all brake parts of one rear wheel. I have seen now, there are two bearings in the hub with a sealing. Why does anybody make this ? Is this a problem ? Is it better, if I replace it with a new one ?

I hope, you can see this pictures:
( I will also try to add the pictures as Attachements)

Thanks for help
