The advantage of the pickup steering box is that the ratio is much different, so it seems like power steering, although you must turn the wheel a lot more to make the car go where you want it to go. All that might be an advantage or disadvantage to you.
It also is no longer an original car. That may or may not bother you.
I had one of those boxes in my 30 deluxe fordor, but took it out, since I also had other model As and it felt odd to go from one car to the other and notice the difference in steering response.
