Default Re: The "Wanted" section of the Forum

Long ago in my checkered past, a man who is and was far more successful in life than I, taught me that volume is the secret to a successful business. Not high prices. being a "last penny merchant" is fine for the ego, but "Flogging" an item for it's last penny of price is not a winner's formula for success. "Ya made the first sale, now can you make the second to that guy?" Can you count on him as a repeat customer who will increase your volume? Or is it a one time thing? Did the buyer, buy because he thought you gave him a fair price, or is he going to see the same item for less some where else and resent you holding him up for it? I'm now on S.S. and haven't got a huge amount of money to play with so price/quality is a consideration.
Mercifully, My rant is done!
