BRENT, I agree with you. I do believe though that Pts. cars are over restored. I saw the same thing in antique aircraft. For the various reasons you mentioned people do this - I have no problem with what ever someone does with their car or airplane. The Pts. cars and airplanes are not restored to original factory condition but to a much higher standard. I do like to see restorations to the original factory condition - if that were possible. I believe later model cars are restored to factory for example, pts. are made by replicating factory paint over spray. Perhaps 2 different classes of restoration?
