If he's still this side of the soil, I'm sure he'd like to re-live old memories like I do..........

Now.....coincidence or small world, whichever. My grandfather was in the 1st Illinois in the Great War also. He was Quartermaster of his company but I don't know what company. I could find out though.

Do you know what unit he was in during the Punitive Expedition?
