Default Fuel pump question

Hi All:
I have a 1951 flathead V8 in my 1948 Merc 114. There is gas seeping from the underside of the fuel pump. The gaskets themselves do not seem to be wet. I used a mirror to look at the underside of the pump body, it looks like there are two small holes opposite one another, gas is seeping from one of these holes. Would a bad diagram cause this? If so, is there a kit to replace it? The pump works fine,I don't want to replace if not necessary. Can't find a schematic on the web.
Thanks and Merry Christmas
Greg
