flatheadfan Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: West Michigan Posts: 1,218	Axle bolts torque value? I am resembling the rear axle on a '36. There are 8- 3/8"-24 bolts (18-4217) that hold the ring gear to the gear case. Does anyone know the torque value of these nuts? I have hunted up and down and have come up basically empty handed. Thanks. Tom
