Default Engine dies when given gas.

Ok. I thought I had this figured out. I'll have to check the timing tomorrow, I messed with it a little tonight trying to figure this out.

Started the car this morning. Perfect. Idles well, responds well when I give it plenty of gas and rev it up really good. I pulled it out of the driveway and ran her around the block. A little hesitation in second and third. I park it, turn it off, go inside and come back to go get some lunch in the A. Reverse out of the driveway, put it in first...ugly. Every time I step on the accelerator, it's trying to die.

I don't think It's fuel, as I can get a long steady stream from the line to the carb. I did have it timed well, but in my haste, I changed that, and I'll have to fix it.

Could this be a coil? I hesitate to think it's a leaky manifold since it did well the first time around the block this morning.
