Default Re: Radiator Stone Guards???

In all of my years in this hobby (53), I cannot recall any reports of stick, stone and bird strikes ruining a radiator in a Model "T" or Model "A" Ford.

Back when the Model "A" was new, it was common to run on unpaved roads where the radiator was vulnerable to being hit by debris, so a radiator stone shield had a functional value.

Today, the only values of a stone guard are cosmetic, (1) because it hides a crappy looking repro radiator, and (2) because the look is pleasing.
