Very interesting here, I was thinking that the February 1929 Tudor came with a rubber floor mat. But there are no attachments (studs) what so ever to attach the rubber mat to the subframe. With that observation, the front floor cover had to be carpet but the standards says the carpet ended "mid 1928" (say August 1928) and the rubber mat then came into being.
Another interesting fact about this February 1929 Tudor plus a few other things. Would there have been carpet fasteners then on the front floor boards if that was the case? Guess I will have top brave the heat and go out into the wearhouse to look. The rear mat is deffenitly carpet. Thanks. Pluck |
