Default 1933 transmission reactivation cleaning

After a transmission sits for 20 years or more in storage and if it is an original 80 years old. When it begins running again. Is it wise to change the transmission oil many times? How do you flush out a trans and differential? I have one of those large syringes that I use to fill the trans.
Can I fill with MMO and run quickly briefly to clean the trans???
Any suggestion?
