Default 8ba crank clearance

I'm trying to work through the pros and cons of running these crank journal clearances. I have .003 on #1 & #2' and .002 on #3 with new bearings. Realizing the stated limits is .005 it is foreseen that the increased clearance will reduce my oil pressure. Not a hot engine by any means but in a pickup with lower gears. At this stage I'm temped to bite the bullet and turn the crank to improve the clearance and or look for a 4" crank.

I'm a beginner so looking for expert advice.

Thanks!
Tim
